Excavations around the island bring to light ancient artifacts and buildings almost daily. The island has many sights to keep you busy all day, from Venetian buildings up to olive press museums. Visit the Castro (old walled city), which, on its elevated ground overlooking the harbor, provides some of the quietest and most photogenic alleyways to be found in town. Don’t miss the famous landmark of Naxos, the Portara Gate. A massive 2,500-year-old marble doorway that leads nowhere; the entrance to an unfinished temple that faces directly toward Delos, god Apollo's birthplace.

Enjoy your last morning on Naxos Island, by visiting another long lacy beach or another unique monument. Discover the gastronomic paradise of Naxos, with local products and authentic Greek flavors in traditional taverns. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the port to catch your 2 hours ferry boat to Santorini. Enjoy the unique experience of slowly approaching the volcanic cliffs of crescent-shaped island of Santorini, encircled by the deep blue Aegean waters. An island that came out of the remnants of a volcanic eruption and steals your heart at first glance with its candy-colored houses perched on volcanic cliffs, beaches with white, red or black volcanic pebbles and sunsets tinted with all the hues of a colorist’s palette. Take unique pictures while you get ready to step on what is believed to be the lost Atlantis.

Enjoy a day free on this enchanting island to enjoy on your own pace its breathtaking views, sizzling black sandy beaches and dazzling sunsets. Candy-colored houses of unique architecture tumble down mountain slopes and vineyards and spill into the sea. Swim in exotic red and black sand beaches under the vibrant Greek sun and taste some of the world’s most fine wines produced locally.

Enjoy a morning at your leisure, to stroll in the picturesque colorful alleys of Santorini and drink coffee with breathtaking views. In the afternoon, hop on a beautiful 62 foot sailing catamaran boat for a unique sunset cruise along the caldera. Visit the Ancient City of Akrotiri and the Red Beach and then anchor at the White Beach, for a swim. Later on, pass the Indian Head Mountain and the Venetian Lighthouse, heading into the caldera. Then, visit Armeni, Ammoudi (Oia), Thirassisa, Hot Springs and cruise past the Volcano. A delicious BBQ dinner is prepared in the sparkling clear waters of Thirassia and back to Vlihada Marina.
